PVC Pipe - Cheap Music Stand - Lyric holder
$5.00 - DIY - Easy - Fast- Fun
Tools Needed:
PVC Cutters or Hacksaw
PVC cement or Super glue
Drill- 3/16" bit (approx.)

Materials Needed:

Clipboard - wood or plastic as light as possible- usually about $1
2- wire ties about 2" - 4" long

PVC Pipe
1- 1/2”  Tee
1- 1/2” Elbow
1- 3/4” X 3/4" X 1/2” Tee

PVC Pipe -Cut lengths

1- 5 1/2” PVC pipe
1- 6 1/2” PVC pipe
1- 12” PVC pipe

Mic stand height adjuster should not be more than 1& 1/16" or this version of the stand won't work - so measure your height adjuster on your mic stand....or buy only the 3/4"X 3/4" X 1/2" PVC Tee and see if it fits over your mic stand adjuster....

don't glue any parts until you have it all assembled and are happy with the length of pvc pipes etc.
remember these are just guidelines on lengths of pipe and materials - get the concept of the build and experiment if need be.

1) Cut all PVC pipes to length

2) drill two holes in the bottom of your clipboard approximately a half inch from the bottom center and 1.25 inches apart from each other.
3) drill a hole thru both sides of the 12" PVC pipe about a 1/2" down.
We are ready to assemble:

1) fit the 3/4" PVC tee over the mic height adjuster.
2) connect the 5 1/2" PVC pipe to the 1/2" PVC part of the tee
3) connect the 1/2" Tee to the pipe
4) connect the 6 1/2" pipe to the 1/2" horizontal tee
5) connect the PVC elbow to the end pipe
6) connect the 12" Pipe to the middle Tee with the holes standing up
7) connect the clipboard with 1- 4" wire tie to the bottom holes of the clipboard
8) connect the top of the clipboard thru the holes in the 12" pipe and thru the clipboard hole at the top
9) take apart and reassemble with cement or superglue if need be.
10) tighten wire ties and cutoff excess length
